I have been a North San Diego County resident since 1976. Originally from Houston, Texas, I moved to Leucadia, near Cardiff by the Sea, about 30 years ago. I kept busy working in the construction and restaurant industries while attending Palomar College and University of California San Diego. All the hard work, the surf and the sun led me to open two successful businesses related to surfing, which I have since sold.

After a decade of hard work in the building industry, I earned a general contractor’s license in 1988, at about the same time as North County’s real estate boom in the ‘80s. With the realization of how desirable the area was becoming, I took the initiative to earn my real estate license in 1989.

When the market took a turn for the worse in the early 1990s, I took advantage of the situation and decided to complete my undergraduate studies at San Diego State University. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance in 1993.

In 1994 I moved to Cardiff by the Sea, where I pursued my career in real estate, concentrating on the west side of Interstate 5 (I-5). Through hard work and dedication I have developed an expertise in the “Composer” and “Walking” districts of Cardiff and was the only full-time real estate agent with a general contractor’s license.

Over the years I have honed my skills to become an expert advisor and advocate for those needing to sell their homes. From deciding how to spend money on home improvement for the highest rate of return to the selection of construction materials through the right subcontractors, I have the experience and knowledge to make your transaction a positive one.

When I decided to dedicate mymself to the Cardiff area over 10 years ago, I worked to develop an intimate knowledge of the city. I knows the people and the culture of the area well and is constantly trying to help both buyers and sellers make their dreams a reality. I am able to share detailed local community information on utilities, zoning and schools in addition to historical information regarding each individual property. Maintaining an objective perspective is key to matching individuals with just the right property in just the right neighborhood.
