| I am selling a property and a buyer has accepted, but they have asked to be allowed to move in before closing and offer a moderate rent to be allowed to do so. Is there a downside to allowing this? Buyer is said to be prequalified for selling price. |

Initially, I would advise you not to do this, however, I am not aware of all the details.
possible issues:
tennants rights
property improvements
disillusionment
property damage
etc........
This could be a big favor or a big mistake, but it is always a risk.
If you decide to bend over backwards for the Buyer(s), make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing with an exit strategy. |
