I am doing some research prior to visiting your area next month. Since I am very unfamiliar with US/SC property taxes (being from UK) I am interested in "estimating" the likely property taxes for various properties. I have found the Charleston and Berkely County Government sites very useful (both have great systems) but have difficulty when trying to find info on Dorchester County properties.
Would appreciate a pointer?

Unfortunately Dorchester has not developed an online GIS system yet.
If you have questions about specific properties, feel free to contact me. I have a program that allows me to access tax records.

| It is now 2005 and we still do not have a way to look up property taxes in Dorchester county. I am looking for the property located at 211 Medina. can you please help? |
